Meet the chef
Meet Taste to Table’s founder and Chef; Dora Ospina.
A qualified chef with over a decade of experience working in fine dining kitchens. Spending much of her career leading a team at one of Canada’s most exclusive Country Clubs and is also a specialized pastry chef.
“Food to me is life, love, and expression. My earliest memories have always had food as the main theme, it was in the kitchen and dinner table where my favourite memories were created. It was my mother who really taught me how to cook and the importance of eating together. Food was what kept my family together; it was at the table that life’s challenges were overcome, and successes celebrated. The kitchen is where I let my creativity run wild. I consider myself very fortunate to have a career with my two my passions; food and art”

With a diverse cultural upbringing Dora’s cooking style can be described as a fusion of flavours with a strong Mediterranean influence. Her philosophy, three things food should be; simple, healthy, flavourful. Her enthusiasm food styling and creativity is undeniably portrait in all our food.
